The bed frame is easy to put together, which is good since there are minimal directions. The drawers just slide under the bed, they are not a part of the frame. Overall the frame is sturdy and nice to look at.

I spent a lot of time researching beds before buying this model. The wood is all excellent hardwood and everything fits together very sturdily. I am extremely happy with this bed. The drawers are enormous and roll smoothly. I modified the bottom of the bed to include a track for the drawer so it would pull out straight no matter what side of the drawer you pulled.
