In the Winslow we see a purity of form that makes it the chameleon of the line. It quite effectively spans the gap between the sexes. Dressed in lace and ruffles the bed very easily carries a feminine character., while a simple change of bedding would reveal a more masculine image. Be sure to note the castings at the top of the head and footboard. The design lines of these castings move the motion in a rolling gesture up and out. This curling silhouette creates a subtle movement outward that brings plenty of interest to the design. It is this kind of attention to detail the tells us much thought went into the look and feel of this bed. The finish is Mahogany Gold.

I purchased the "full" sized headboard only, not the footboard. The headboard came nearly completely assembled. All I had to do was attach the bottom part of the legs. It was very easy...the only tool required was a hex wrench, which was included in the package. It attached to my existing bed frame perfectly and effortlessly in less than five minutes.The quality is better than I expected. Because the price is so low, I expected something a little flimsy that wouldn't last forever. In reality, it's very solid and I'm sure it will last for decades or longer. There are no parts of the frame, even the long bar at the top, that bend or flex. The color looks black to my eyes. I know the description says "mahogany gold" and I'm not exactly sure what that's supposed to mean, but the actual color is as black as it looks in their photo and it has a smooth, glossy finish.

This is a beautiful headboard. It has classic lines and is understated, but still stands out in a room. The color is a true mahogany -- a dark, rich brown that is close to black but more interesting than black. It is good value for the money.

It was easy to put together, and looks great. The color is black not a mahogany-gold as described which was fine with me. I've seen this headboard at other stores for over 300 dollars, so this is a great deal!
