stunning at an affordable price!

This bed frame, though time consuming at installation, was elegant yet practical. I really enjoyed the tufted look throughout the entire frame along with the low profile upholstered look and feel. Easy to wipe clean and looks just as great as it did when I first got it. My only issue was the pre-drilled holes on the wooden ribs that go on the bottom of the frame that support the box springs and mattress. The manufacturer's specs must've been a little off. I had to widen the holes a few millimeters so that the wood post fit properly. Hopefully it was just mine. All in all, for the price, you can't beat it. Very eye catching and appealing.

Not a platform bed

I purchased this believing it was a platform bed. Its not. You need a box spring mattress. The construction is solid, the design and material is contemporary and does not look cheap, and the bed is straightforward to put together (power screwdriver really helps speed it along).

not a platform bed

Standard Furniture Madison Square Platform Bed In Microfiber Blackthis is not a platform bed. You will need a box spring/foundation with this. i just purchased a new memory foam mattress and you need to have something other then the 3 cross beams providedi ended up buying some 2x4s and plywood and building it up 8 inchs so i wont need to purchase a box springkinda disappointed in that.assembly is pretty easy and seems to be made ok for the pricewould have given it 4 stars if it was a platform bed that didnt need a box spring
