Read my review lots of info on this quilt...
By DH
Well I really wanted to buy this quilt, but I was so nervous buying this sight onseen, especially since I had to match my quilt to some very expensive curtains that I was for sure keeping. That being said...I actually ordered my Antique Chic King Quilt from Walmart for $79.99. I ordered it Site to Store and there was no shipping and had free returns. This bonus set is actually a better purchase, so I would recommend getting it from here, so you can get the extra two pillows, but if you are nervous you won't like it the free shipping and returns at Walmart is a good option.I have a queen sleigh bed with a temperpedic mattress, so it's fairly large. I purchased the King quilt, since my last queen quilt was a little too small. The quilt itself fits perfectly. It hung to about 6 inches from the floor and really it couldn't have fit any nicer. The problem I had was the King pillow shams were a little large and hung off the side of the bed. I didn't have any king pillows, so I put two standard pillows in them and that did the trick. They hang over the bed on each side a little, but its worth it for the quilt fitting so nicely. The color of the quilt is nice. It has a lot of mustard tone, sage green tone and the one fabric with the red. This is a cranberry/wine red, not a barn/rust red. There are so many colors in this quilt you can't really go wrong with accents. There is white thread used for the quilt stitching which is done on a machine. It looks nice though... not cheap. The quilt is a mid weight quilt, I would say great for any season.Hope this helps. Overall I would recommend this quilt...you can't beat the price and I found this on other websites for $100+. I even saw it for $200 and they claimed it was a hand stitched quilt, so it obviously is fairly nice quality if it can pass for that. Very pretty quilt.

big bang for the buck!

Greenland Home Antique Chic King Quilt Bonus Set I love the colors of this quilt. It came with 2 additional pillows and two king size shams. The different fabrics are all lovely and the quilt is reversible. For the price you can't beat it. I would certainly give this quilt set another look. Another reviewer said the colors are muted but I think they are bright and beautiful. A must have!

Colors are decievingly bright in pics...

I just received this quilt set in king size this afternoon. I must agree with the reviewer who said the colors are definitely more muted than depicted on Amazon. I still opted to buy the quilt even knowing there was a chance I wouldn't like the colors as much as I hoped I would. I do realize that every monitor is different so I am not blaming Amazon, but I feel potential buyers should be aware of this before buying the set. My biggest complaint is that the quilt is predominantly yellow, actually quite a deep, warm mustard yellow. In the online pic it appears much lighter and more of a creamy yellow. The blue squares on the quilt are a light dusty blue (80's flashback!) - in the picture it appeared more of a light turquoise. Having said all that....I still love the quilt. The colors *are* rich and warm and overall I still am pleased with the set. The quality appears to be very good, although having just received the set I can't vouch for long-term wear and tear.Edit: Have owned this quilt set for seven months now and it has been washed several times. Just wanted to add thatit's holding up very well...it becomes softer with each wash and the colors aren't fading much at all...if anything if just has a slightly more "antique" look now which I actually like. Still very happy with my purchase.
