So, I bought a cheapo memory foam mattress thinking it would be soft and smushy and it would be wonderful... Ummm, negative ghostrider. It is SO hard it's like sleeping on hardwood floors. It barely gives. No smushiness or comfort at all :( I tried a feather bed AND a padded topper, but it was STILL too hard. My back ached and my arms and legs often fell asleep.After some pretty thorough research, I decided to take a chance on this featherbed. I saw the 5" and thought, "HECK, YES!!". For other featherbeds, they were WAY more expensive than this one, so my thrifty nature told me to go for it.When I was unpacking the featherbed, I was so giddy that I literally RIPPED the box open like it was Christmas or something. I put this featherbed on top of my thinner one, fluffing it as I spread it across the bed... and I literally watched MAGIC happen. I put my padded topper on (to keep the feathers in check and add to my fluffy magical haven), clean sheets, and dove in! Ohhhhh... it's amaz-za-zing! There are no words to explain how WONDERFUL this featherbed is!!If you're looking for a thick, good-quality featherbed for a bargain... THIS one is for you! Highly recommend! Go forth, fluff, and sleep in magical feathery clouds, my friends :)

You won't find a 5" anywhere for this price and it is really nice! Love it! Also I know I've had some that do smell but this one didn't at all. Went right on the bed and within an hour was fully fluffed and ready for sheets. I've had it for over 2 weeks now. Highly Recommend! I searched every store locally but this one beats what I found in price and fill.

I like the "pillows" so the down does not get moved to one area or another creating flat spots. It's warm when it's cool in the room and it's cool when it's a bit hot. Very satisfied. Price and quality are good.
