Just love the warmth and the softness sleeping on the feather bed. Considered a new mattress, but with this topper it is not necessary.

We have been sleeping on the 4" king featherbed for two months now and still love it as much as we did when it first arrived. I'm 5'4" 115 lbs and my husband is 6'2" and 190 lbs and it works for both of us. We are turning/flipping the featherbed once a week and while I can do it on my own, it is easier with two people as it is bulky. The stitching is solid and we have had no problems with feathers poking through or any smell as I've read can be an issue with some featherbeds. I debated between the 2" and 4" size and am glad I chose the 4". It is sitting on top of our standard mattress and because I don't have deep pocket sheets, I am using two fitted sheets - one for the standard mattress and one for the featherbed. The featherbed is thick and heavy enough that the fitted sheet stays on it just fine. I would definitely buy this again and think it was a great value.

Down featherbeds need to be fluffed, and this (king size) is so heavy that one person could not do it alone. I had paid $20 for shipping. It was so heavy that I didn't unseal its plastic bag, but just decided to return it.FedEx would charge an incredible $60 to ship this back to the seller, so I returned it by US Postal Service for $32. I have spent $52 for shipping costs alone, very frustrating.
