Good quality, solid construction, bottom bunk not very high
By Lisa N.
We purchased this bunk bed 2 years ago. My husband put it together and said it wasn't terrible to figure out. The instructions were more picture oriented, so don't expect a lot of detail in regards on putting it together. It's solid materials were good. When the kids are up together playing on the top bunk, I was worried at first, but it holds up strong. Even when mommy goes up there to sit up there with them. Having the trundle on the bottom works well with sleepovers. The only down side is the bottom bunk isn't very tall. Even my 4 year old can't sit up in bed without hitting his head. If any of you were ever in the navy and did time on a ship, it will remind you of your rack... Not that it's entirely a bad thing, it's just a little cramped. We don't have a super thick mattress in the bed either. Standard 8-9" mattress. The trundle couldn't take a standard mattress and we put a foam mattress that was only 6" thick under there. The kids still love it. The stairs are solid and safe. They have non-stick strips on them to help against slipping. The little fingers hold tight on the rails, too. Very safe. All in all, good product. I'd give it 5 stars if there was a little more distance between the bottom bunk and the top bunk.

Some issues, but would buy again
By B. Elmore
The end result of putting this bed together is worth the effort, but be forewarned, putting this bed together is time consuming. "Assembly required" is a serious understatement. This bed is more of a kit than something that can be slapped together in an hour or less. It took me near an hour just to unpack all of the boxes and make sense of ALL of the parts they contained. The instructions are quite good, but many of the pieces were not properly labeled, making the assembly take more time. A rep from the company told my wife that it should take 2 people about 2 hours to put the bed together. Perhaps, 2 people who had done it before and were working on separate components could pull it off in that amount of time. In my case, I did it alone and it took me more than 6 hours total to put together. Granted, I took my time, didn't have a power tool to screw in the hex bolts, and made some mistakes (e.g. using the wrong size bolt a couple of times). Overall, I would buy this bed again (and might even purchase a second one). Just be prepared for the effort it requires.UPDATE: I did buy a second bunk bed and found the assembly easier the second time. One tip to make things easier is don't unpack all of the boxes. There's one box that contains all of the parts for the trundle and another that contains all (or most) of the parts for drawers. There's no reason for unpack these until you ready to assembly those components. Assembly still took me 4 hours or more, but its not difficult and the result is rewarding.

Good Product.....
By Kongo
This is one of the better bunk beds have seen. It is well built and came in well packed for shipping.I particularly like the espresso color and it fits right in the kids bedroom.Installation took about 3 hours all together and it wasnt a difficult one, just time consuming.Overall it was a good buy and the only reason I am not giving it 4 or 5 stars is that some parts were missing.
