Excellent alternative to electric adjust frames
By Bkow
To start off this review focuses on using a non-pragma mattress with the Queen sized simple adjust (head+foot).Short answer it works quite well. I have a Queen sized Comforpedic mattress, not a pragma mattress. My mattress takes the adjustments quite well, no problems.Being able to adjust the bed is fantastic, far more than i had hoped for. Being able to adjust the foot and head section of the bed leads to far higher levels of comfort; for me this is improves things such as gaming, watching tv, etc...Negatives:1. I find the Queen frame slightly difficult to adjust. Let me note, the difficulty that comes with manually adjusting this bed was expected. The effort required is still insignificant compared to the price saved vs an electric adjustable bed. The Queen frame is two smaller frames you connect together. I find this can lead uneven adjustments on each sides, again easy to fix.2. Adjusting the foot section is vastly more difficult that adjusting the head portion.3. Sometimes you will have to hold the frame down. Attempting to adjust will lift up the whole frame instead of just the head/foot section.4. The straps are pretty poor(I broke one on the first use), and they also can get stuck between the adjustable sections and frame.. 5. While it is difficult using a memory foam means you can just lift the mattress section, they are pretty light, and adjust the frame underneath. Requires a little strength but makes the process much easier than trying to manhandle the straps.*With the bigger frames I imagine having a person on either side will make this a little easier.Overall this frame has greatly improved the versatility of my mattress. The utility it provides vastly outweighs the difficulty of adjusting it. These difficulties may not exist with the smaller frames.
