I used a full-flow waterbed for around five years, then one of the old 40-50% flow waterbeds for around 15 years. My old bed sprung its last leak and I got rid of it and used a nice regular mattress since the middle of last winter. I have RA and back issues, and the regular mattress prevented me from getting a good nights sleep, especially since cold fall air started up. I ached every morning. I bought this new mattress to put in my old frame because it had the lumbar support. I've had it for a few weeks now and must say that I haven't been this comfortable in bed in years, maybe a couple of decades! This is the first waterbed I've ever been in that, besides laying on my back, is extremely comfortable on my side and even mostly on my stomach. This is a bed I could stay cuddled up in all day and night! I have never slept on a bed this good.It appears to be very well built, heavy duty looking materials and the matching liner is much heavier than my last one.For those with arthritis and/or back issues, or those in the chilly regions of the world, I'd say this mattress should be on the top of your list. Great value for the money.The mattress was delivered two days before the listed expecting to deliver date. Nice!Can't say enough about this wonderful bed!

I love this mattress! We had an old freeflow waterbed mattress for years that we had liked at first. But over time we began to dislike the way you would get sloshed around on a wave every time the other person moved. And we both began to have intermittent back pain. I was worried when we had first filled this mattress with water that it would not be "waveless" enough - but just as the instructions say, the bed becomes firmer over a period of about 5 days. Now it is comfy but firm and I am sleeping through the night most nights, which seems like a miracle!

my son who has a bad back is thrilled with this mattress. he noticed a difference the first night he slept on it
