Great Color & Look

Have only had a few days - but I have not even been close to thinking it needes returned... and I ALWAYS 2nd guess myself... GREAT color - not to dark - not to light. My worry was it might be to delicate for our 60+lb dog who tends to spend the day jumping off and on the bed ... not the case. Would have given it a 5 if it were just a wee bit wider (ordered King size)

What are you looking for, quality or comfort? Aesthetics or warmth?

I was looking for a lightweight comforter that had some character, without being too feminine, gaudy, or gimmicky. I also didn't want to spend much, but I recognize that a decent king size comforter is not cheap. I looked at every king comforter on Amazon and decided on this one. It was a perfect buy for me. It feels so light and soft on a warm Mississippi night, laying gently atop my sateen sheets like a puffy white cloud in the sky. I love it! It makes me smile at the end of my day. The light and mild warmth it provides upon slipping beneath it in a massive king bed still surprises me with a satisfying pleasure each time I rest my bones. And I love the look, including the light grey hue and white accents. The texture provides just the right amount of subtlety to make your giant bed beautiful without making it obnoxious.However, the quality is probably not great. The stitching on the flaps was already coming apart when I receiver the comforter. I haven't noticed any damage since then (about one month ago), but I anticipate further tearing of the frills. It is also not very warm, which is perfect for some climates. In a climate further north, it will require a warm blanket (or two, during winter).All in all, it depends on what you're looking for. The decorative pillows are nice, I guess, but I don't really use them. If you want comfort, style, uniqueness, and lightweight splendor, buy this comforter. If you want intense warmth and/or durability, keep looking.

Bought this comforter for our master bedroom and absolutely love it. I was "iffy" since I read mixed reviews. It looks very elegant and I have had many compliments on it. We added some teal pillows as well and the yellow and teal go great as accent colors with the grey. I highly recommend this bedding!
