FINALLY!!! Relief for THIS Sciatica Sufferer!!!

I am 48 years old and broke my back in 1984. In the past 15 years, my sciatica, neuropathy and overall pain has significantly increased. I have been receiving epidural injections of cortisone and steroids for the past 9 years to help manage pain in my lower back and legs. I take a host of medication for pain and sleep. I have gone thru 5 different mattresses in the past 3 years, attempting to get a decent nights sleep! I am SOOOOOO glad I didn't give up!!in just the past year I have bought and returned a Night Therapy 12 inch, Serta IComfort and the Dynasty Mattress 12 inch Celebrity, all from Amazon. None provided the pain relief and stopped the up and down all night sleep cycle I had been going thru. I would get comfortable in one position on all of the other mattresses, fall asleep and in the middle of the night, change positions which would cause pain, waking me up. Over the past 3 years I have been averaging 4-5 hours sleep per night, EVEN while taking Ambien, methadone and Flexeril!So, the actual review! Well packaged and fast ship. I spoke to Dynasty after returning the celebrity and chose this one. They call this plush, but it is initially firm until you start to sink in. The only way I can describe the feeling is floating. I have no sensation of any pressure points, as I have had with the other mattresses, both spring and memory foam. Whether on my back, stomach or sides, I get full support with no pressure points. I have laid on every memory foam bed made to name a few; Tempurpedic, Ashley,.Serta and none have responded to my body and needs the way this mattress has .At $400, this mattress is a Steal. The cover is nice and removable for washing. I can't say that this mattress sleeps hotter than any others I've had. I just know that for now, this mattress works for me. BTW, I am 5'8", 180lbs. I will post a follow-up in a couple months to let you know how the mattress is holding up.

Too hard.

The mattress is too hard. We had slept on a Sealy Optimum Inspiration mattress for the previous year. Compared to the Sealy Inspiration, this mattress is way too hard (and hot).

Soft? Since when are bricks considered soft?

First time I've been completely disappointed with a purchase through Amazon, though it's not of their doing. I ordered this bed to replace my queen sized memory foam bed. That one was a bit firm for me still after a couple of years. So I started a search and figured I buy everything else on Amazon, why not this.Found this mattress by Dynasty. Sounded great, I want a soft mattress I said! So I ordered it and two days later it's at my door step (Amazon Prime, love it). Unpacked it, let it puff itself up for a couple of days. First thing I noticed, the cover didn't look like the ad picture when I ordered it and actually looked like the one pictured currently in the ad. More on that later. I was so excited to sleep on this mattress that was advertised as being like a "cloud supreme breeze". I tested a cloud supreme at a store and was amazed by the softness, literally like a cloud.Finally a soft bed I thought!.Set it up in the bedroom two nights later and couldn't wait for bed time. Got in bed that night and much to my disappointment it was no where near soft. Matter of fact it was firmer than my previous mattress. If this is their soft bed then what's their firm like? Sleeping on concrete? Seriously, this is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on. First night wasn't to bad because I was dead tired. 2nd and 3rd night I woke up 2-3 times because I was hurting from the "softness" of this bed. I'm 165lbs and this bed has almost no give to it. Kind of like sleeping on the floor with a light blanket. I hate it. Some may like the firmness but that's not what was advertised.So... I figured you know what, maybe they just packed the wrong mattress in there, sent me the firm by accident, so I'll email them and give them a chance to right things before I get all up in arms about it. I emailed them on day 2. Day 3, heard nothing back. Ok, maybe they haven't read my email yet, right? Well the picture in the current ad was not the picture that was there when I ordered my mattress. The current picture showed up after I sent them my email, which included a picture of the cover, showing them it looked different from the ad picture. Low and behold, the ad picture now looked like the bed I received. Uuhhhhuuu.Well, I've decided that this company isn't serious about customer service and shows no inclination of resolving the problem. So I requested a return from Amazon and they're sending UPS to come and pick this brick up at no cost to me. Thank god for Amazon, otherwise I'd be stuck with it.So in short, careful what you're ordering from this company, you don't know what you're going to get.
