Seems a wise choice

Its difficult for me to buy a product like this without due diligence. That, in this case, was difficult to find a reviews. I have limited time with this mattress, 3 days, but the quality is great, the comfort very good. There is a little out gasing but not a problem. Out gasing is natural result of the process and it is fading quickly.This is my second memory foam purchase. The price of this mattress is about 1/4th the cost of the first. I would rate my experience so far to be equal as to comfort and quality with the more expensive model. Its a great product.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR UNWRAPPING THE MATTRESS- by me, as the instructions that came with it were not good at all:1. Pull the 80lb mattress out of the box.2. My mattress was rolled so that I should have unrolled it from top to bottom (not side to side*.)3. If you see the pretty design on the outside of the rolled mattress, be aware that the mattress is rolled the "wrong" way (with the top of the mattress being on the outside of the roll.)4. CAREFULLY cut the outer plastic that keeps the vacuum-sealed mattress rolled up. Remove this plastic.5. If your mattress came with pillows, they would be inside the rolled mattress.6. The mattress has to be unrolled, and will probably be upside down. Flip it over.7. The pretty white design side goes up, and the ugly side with the zipper, and brown edging towards the bottom goes down.8. If you have a king mattress, I'd take this opportunity to verify you have it going the right direction*! Get out your tape measure. A regular king is 76" x 80". That's 76" across (side to side,)and 80" long (head to toe.)(*LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE! Mine was already expanding and I ended up having to turn it, which was almost impossible by myself in cramped quarters!)9. CAREFULLY cut the plastic along the edges of the mattress, and remove the plastic from around and under the mattress.10. I'd give the bed 3 days to expand, minimum. It seems expand faster in the middle than the edges as they were squished more. You can probably sleep on it the first night, but I'd recommend removing the sheets daily for the first 3 days to allow proper expansion, and ventilation. Within a few hours, my 10" mattress was around 9"+ on the edges.7/24/13: I have to say, I think I'm already in love with it, and I haven't even slept on it yet.Here are some other points:1. The packaging wasn't great, my cardboard box was split and half open. But the mattress was fine. Had the plastic been punctured, you'd know because it would probably expand like a marshmallow in the microwave and bust the box open.2. After purchasing a ventilated memory foam topper a few months ago, I have to say the odor on this is barely noticeable. It just smells new. The topper's chemical odor (outgassing) stunk up my apt for a good 2 weeks.More after I actually get to sleep on it!!

It was time to retire our caved in coil spring mattress, so my husband and I started the research process. We both loved the icomfort gel/memory foam genius mattress (firm), but were both against paying $1500. I had asked the salesperson about the specifications of this particular mattress and decided to look online to see if there was a more affordable option. The reviews for this mattress were excellent, and the specifications were comparable, so we decided to take the gamble and order it. We could not be more pleased!We have had the mattress 3 days now, and we have not slept this well in months! The mattress is firm, but extremely comfortable, and I have not had a glimmer of back pain since night one. We opted to sleep on the mattress the first night (even though they recommend waiting 72 hours - my back couldn't take another night on the other mattress). Out of the package about 8 hours, it had expanded to almost the full size, and the chemical smell (kind of like glue) was noticeable but bearable. We allowed it to air out the entirety of day two, and by that night, the smell was barely noticeable. The mattress stays cool (which my hot flashes appreciate :) ), and the memory foam pillows that are included are very comfortable as well.If you are looking for a mattress comparable to the icomfort genius, but don't want to pay the premium price, this is for you! Thank you Dynasty and Amazon for providing such a great product!
