Poor Quality - DO NOT BUY

This bed in incredibly poor quality. I bought and assembled for my 4 year old. While sitting on the bed for the FIRST time, I heard some creaking. I got up and sat back down and heard the sound of wood cracking. One of the side rails split clean through and a dropped almost to the floor. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed. I will be requesting a refund and dumping this piece of junk in the trash.Upon closer inspection it appears the lip for the slates is not one continuous piece. Not surprisingly the side rail failed and cracked right at the joint for the lip.If you like your mattresses to not fall on the floor, I recommend buying something else.

This is a nice sturdy bed. Went together well, perfect for my dads senior apt. Nice solid wood, and a nice finish.

This is a very sturdy and attractive bed. Much better than the particle board versions for the same price. Easy to put together attractive. I am 5;9" 180 lbs and it is great for me.
