This set is ship in 2 boxes with headboard in one box and the 3 frames and slats in another. I agree with the other review that the shipper is not that great. They wouldn't even wait for me to check the content of the package and basically said they couldn't careless if the package was damage by them or if it even the right item that I ordered.Anyway, this is not a review about the shipper, so here is my take on this Baxton Studio bed frame and headboard.It was very easy for me to setup my set, because I set my up without using the middle bar and slats. Basically I set up a square box and put my old box spring inside it. I have an eastern king serta icomfort insight and it fit perfectly. The whole set is very low to the ground, which can be good for some and not others. I like it, because my Yorkie can jump up and down by itself. The material feels smooth and nice to touch. The headboard is not as soft as I would have like it to be. One bad thing about this set is that the 4 silver leg stand on each of the corner is bolted by one screw only. It feels pretty lose, but the weight will come down on it, I guess.It looks and feels very good.Strong and steady frame, but lose on the small leg stand.

Beautiful and Sturdy Bed!

I was apprehensive about buying this after reading negative reviews about shoddy construction on similar platform beds, but this bed is absolutely amazing!It took about an hour to put together, and the instructions (though limited) were very easy to follow. It's super sturdy and beautiful and has added an elegant touch to my room. I love it!

I was really concerned about purchasing this bed and not having it be sturdy. I was concerned that without a box spring that the supports may be weak. I was also worried that the fabric may be tacky or cheap.The bed arrived in two packages. One with the headboard and the other with the base. I opened the head board first and was immediately in love with it. The fabric looked great and it felt very sturdy. As others have said the instructions to put the bed together were not the best...but it was pretty easy to figure out either way. Once put together this bed is solid! There are several slats to replace the box spring and they have quite a big of flexibility so it is not uncomfortable and it doesn't feel like the are going to give. My biggest concern was having a loose, annoying headboard but it is so sturdy and I am just so happy with this purchase.So worth the money and I can tell this bed will last a LONG time.
