Great kids bed

This bunk bed worked out great for my son. He loved it and was so excited to sleep in his "big boy" bed. The bed was delivered in 2 separate boxes. The shipper packed it securely and no pieces were missing. The mattresses (purchased separately) were delivered the following day.Although it took 2 of us about 2 days to put the beds together, it looks great and it's sturdy. The bolts fit tightly. The bed looks exactly like the picture shown. I like that the beds can be separated and they both look nice as stand alone beds. I'm glad I purchased this bed.I would recommend adding more slats or get a solid flat board to put between the mattresses and the slats. I measured and bought extra boards inexpensively at my local hardware store. We added more boards to both the top and bottom beds, just for more security. Overall a great purchase.8 month update: We've moved and had to take apart the bed frame completely and reassemble at the new house. It was not difficult and still looks great. Even with wear and tear from young children.

Easy to assemble

Had some parts missing but called and got them very quick. Stamped made in vietnam. Got an inner spring mattress for it but will have to add sheet of plywood underneath. Bottom has center supports making under bed storage difficult.

Hmmm

Ordered in January and have only received half of the bed...not only have we been charged, the bed is now $250 less than what we paid. I want to love this item but hard to know how it will be until we have it assembled. Unsure of when that will happen due to the fact that the company has not sent the email we were promised 4 days ago. :(
