Authentic Egyptian CottonThis product is 100% authentic, single-ply, single-pick, long-staple Egyptian cotton. Yes, there was a lot we had to clarify there because there are several ways other brands try to deceive consumers. Egyptian cotton is superior to most other sheet material because of the long-staple. While the long-staple can be found in other cottons, it is most predominantly found in Egyptian grown cotton. This long-staple allows the cotton to be woven more extensively, creating a softer and more durable sheet that is resistant to pilling. The carefully crafted weave makes Egyptian cotton sheets more breathable. You can see why authentic Egyptian cotton sheets are so desirable; unfortunately, a lot of consumers are tricked into purchasing inferior products. Sleeping Dream

These sheets are beautiful and a dream to sleep in! I have ordered other things through Malouf before and have always been happy with the quaility, but these even exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Ivory in queen size. Even though the description said that they had deep pockets, I was a little skeptical as every other "deep pocketed" fitted sheets still were too small on my bed. These fitted sheets, however, fit beautifully and even had a little room to spare. I was so pleased. The ivory is beautiful and is true to the image provided. The sheets themselves are divine to sleep in. They are silky soft, and stay cool on hot summer nights. I would definitely recmmend them to anyone!On a random note, the washing instructions on the tag are actually large enough to read. They get bonus points for that.

Disappointed

Sheets were very nice right out of the box, but after about 3-4 weeks, they starting pilling like crazy. Now, with all the little bumps from the pilling, they are extremely uncomfortable and we have already pitched them and bought a different set. Very disappointing quality for the price paid. Honestly, this is probably the very first product on Amazon that we have been disappointed with, so it was probably bound to happen at some point or another.We have had much better luck with "Supima" cotton sheets as opposed to the "Egyptian" type cotton in these Malouf sheets. The Supima type cotton is guaranteed to be 100% "Extra Long Staple" (ELS) cotton, which is what you want in bed sheets. True Egyptian cotton should be 100% ELS, but after doing some research, it isn't always the case. Thats why we decided to now just get sheets that are made with Supima, so that we are for sure getting what we pay for. Hope this helps.

I love love love these sheets. They are absolutely wonderful! Nice thickness to the fabric too. Just a reminder to future buyers, remember to wash the sheets in cold water and dry them on a cool setting :) hot settings degrade the fabric.
