Sleeping much better

My mattress is old, and there was a spring sticking in my back no matter which way I flipped it. Rather than get a new mattress, I thought I would give this 2" mattress topper a try. I couldn't be happier! I have it for about 1 week now, and my sleep has greatly improved. I am a side sleeper, but I do not sink all the way into it because it is 4 lb density, and can't feel anymore springs! I was initially looking for something "rock hard" that I would not sink into at all, because I normally like a firm mattress. This topper is definitely not rock hard, there is some give to it. However, I find that that just makes it more supportive, without any pressure points. I've read reviews from other people complaining that they cannot roll over because the topper has too much give, and they get "stuck." I have not had that issue with this topper. It is dense enough that moving is not an issue. I must note again that I have the 2" topper. This company also carries 3" and 4", which may have different results.I ordered the regular twin size topper, and find that it fits my regular length twin size mattress perfectly. There is an inch or so overhang along the edges, so that when the fitted sheet is placed on top, it holds it in position and covers the whole mattress. Again, I read reviews of other toppers that had complaints because of the toppers being to small. People were ordering the next size up to get a good fit. Not a problem with this topper... it fits great! There was very slight chemical odor when I first opened the bag, but it wasn't even enough to make me want to move it into another room. I just let it sit for a few hours to regain it's shape, and had it on my bed that night to sleep on. I have many allergies, but this did not bother me at all.The company that this topper ships from had excellent service. The topper arrived within 3 days of ordering, 2 days before the earliest estimated arrival date. It was well packaged so it wouldn't be damaged during shipment. And, the day it arrived, I also received a post card via USPS from the company, providing Customer Service phone numbers and emails in case there was any problem, or if I had questions.I highly recommend this topper, it will help you get a much better night's sleep!

Good at the start

I purchased this mattress topper about three weeks ago. The shipping was pretty fast and I was surprised they could stuff the topper into such a small box. The topper arrived in a vacuum-sealed plastic bag (I assume to make it as small as possible). From reading other reviews I knew to air the topper out before trying to use it, and did notice a distinctive chemical smell. I put it on my mattress under a mattress cover and sheets.Pros:- The first night was great. The topper was soft enough to be comfortable while still supporting my body well.- The material is squishy but re-inflates itself quickly. When I first tried it, it did not hold the imprint of my hand or body for very long before reasserting its original shape.Cons:- For the first two weeks, every time I moved the strong chemical smell wafted past my face. After three weeks it's still there, but not nearly as bad.- After three weeks, the topper has a depression in the middle where I typically sleep. If I lay down off to either side (it's a full mattress) it's nice and comfy again, just like it was the first time I used it. I'm very disappointed that the mattress topper is already sagging and don't expect it to continue to support me.After this experience I wouldn't purchase this topper again. Instead I would go to a brick-and-mortar store where I could easily return the topper if it didn't live up to my expectations.

Great. I'm deployed in Kuwait. Mattresses are not the best here. This is the difference between waking up every hour, or getting a good nights sleep.You don't want to go over 2 inch depth. Would never get your fitted sheet on the bed.As far as the smell when new, dissipates very quickly. Not strong, at least for me. Air it out for a couple of hours should take care of it.
