The Matte Black finish presents on the Sanford is its defining characteristic to be sure. What other bed shows a rich distillation of the option of bed as focal point or bed as background décor. The powder coat application marries texture to the surface in a way that both mutes and plays with light. Notice how the soft sheen of the finish takes a heavy steel frame and portrays it as light in weight. The 10 castings locked in place on this bed are intentionally finished in the same black power coat to show only their silhouette and accentuate their simple nature.

Great product for a great price

SUMMARYWe were looking for a sturdy bed frame at a great price and came across this product. We would recommend this product.PROS* Arrived as stated* Easy to assemble (you may need to check the documentation on how to attach the middle supports)* The frame looks great and feels stable* The frame comes with plastic caps under the middle supports to reduce the amount of effort required to move the bed. Our bed frame is on top of a plush carpet and the caps do make it easy to move the frame even with the mattress on it.CONS* The frame does not come with wheel and wheels are not addable* The gap between mattress and bed frame makes it such that pillows can fall between* Easy to stub toes on middle supports* Frame is low to the ground and as such under the bed cannot be used for storage

Great Bed

I did a lot of looking around for bed frames in this style before deciding on this one. I chose it mainly because it had good reviews and was very reasonably priced. IKEA has similarly priced bed frames, but upon investigating them in person they didn't seem very sturdy.I've had this bed frame for almost two months now and I love it. The shipping was fast and easy, it arrived very quickly. It is much sturdier and even higher quality than I expected when I ordered it, it has a really nice weight to it that makes me believe it will hold up well. Also I found it pretty easy to put together, which I did by myself in maybe a little over an hour.I know some people had mentioned there not being enough space under the bed, but I was able to fit the plastic storage bins I kept under my other bed under it, the bed seems a normal height to me and if you want to fit bigger stuff under it you could always get those things ti rise it up.Another complaint I saw was that the frame is "too long" and there is a gap at the top or bottom. I found this complaint weird because I actually like that the frame is longer than my mattress because it leaves room for my duvet to fall between the bottom of the mattress and the footboard at the bottom of the bed. With the duvet on the bed it doesn't look too long or weird at all. I've had bed frames in the past that were so tight to the mattress that you had to stuff the duvet down between the mattress end and footboard and I always hated that. So I actually really like the extra length in my frame, it's also nice because I'm tall and when frames fit the mattress exactly my feet tend to bang into them, where as with this one I've got plenty of room and it looks great.
