Creswick all-natural 100-percent Australian merino wool king size blanket - merino wool is known as natures best insulator and high performance fabric. The wool comes from the merino sheep of Australia who are regarded as having the finest and softest wool of any sheep in the world. Because merino wool fibers are smaller in diameter and more numerous than coarser wools, it makes merino one of the softest, most durable and dense types of wool available. It is also naturally itch free. The benefits of the merino wool blanket are that it has an amazing warmth-to-weight ratio making it a perfect temperature regulating blanket that will keep you warmer in the winter months and cooler in the summer. The super-fine merino wool fibers naturally absorb and wick moisture (sweat) away from the skin keeping you drier and more comfortable. Due to its uniquely thin fibers the merino wool blanket does not retain odor. Merino wools contains lanolin. It also is hypo-allergenic, as is most wool. Our blankets are woven at creswick woollen mills in Australia which was founded in 1947 and still operating today. Creswick woollen mills rigorously avoids the use of chemicals in production of our wool blankets and we make sure that all of our products are manufactured from 100-percent all-natural components making an already perfect and healthy blanket. This luxurious king size blanket measures an oversized 108-inch by 96-inch and includes a 1.5-inch triple stitched satin trim on all four sides to give it a clean crisp edge. For added convenience this top of the line blanket is machine washable. Care instructions: warm hand wash or machine wash on wool cycle. Do not tumble dry, dry cleanable.

So warm and cosy!
By Sherry T Fillman
This blanket is like the ones that my mother had on our beds in the 50's! The quality of the blanket is wonderful. I searched for a long time to find a 100% wool blanket with binding on the edges. It is quite substantial with lots of wool used, but not stiff and is very soft and warm. My husband, who doesn't show too much interest in what I buy for the home, has mentioned several times how much he likes this blanket. He says, "It's the best thing we've bought, this year"! It has the satin binding, not only on the ends, but all around. I wish they had some different colors, but am 100% satisfied with this purchase and feel that it was well worth the money spent. I will replace all of our old blankets with these, eventually. As far as size goes, I bought a king for a queen bed and probably didn't need to, since it hangs 22" on each side of our queen bed. I was afraid it might be skimpy, but they are definitely oversize and allow for "cover stealing"!

Plaid Australian Wool Blanket
By connor-kipling
My wife and I were very pleased with the Australian wool blanket we just purchased. It had a beautiful pattern and was nicely over-sized to fit our king-sized bed very well. We were also impressed with the superior quality of the blanket, especially in light of the reasonable price.

An OK Blanket
By Amazon Buyer
Don't expect the Merino Wool to be the same quality as what you got twenty + years ago. But it is OK to keep you warm.
