Amazing Bed, Almost Perfect

This bed is an amazing value, looks stunning and the headboard is very practical.Pros:-------------------+ 100% solid wood, there are no particle board parts.+ The finish is beautiful and seems durable.+ The lights in the headboard are awesome, they go from very dim to bright enough to be used for reading and are controlled by a touch-switch on one side of the bed..+ The storage compartments in the headboard are very useful. They are perfect for holding a glass of water, books, remotes or anything else you want to have quick access to while in bed.+ Assembly is relatively easy and only took about 30 minutes. It does help to have two people but you could probably do it with one if needed.+ The price of this bed including free shipping is incredible. This bed probably costs thousands in furniture stores.+ Comes with slats and screws to secure them so the slats will not move or fall out the bottom like they do on some other beds.+ Overall the construction quality of the bed seems to be very good.+ Made in Malaysia, not China.+ No smell or fumes at all.Cons:-------------------- It would have been nice to have a touch-switch for the lights on both sides of the bed.- The way the headboard is bolted on to it's "legs" doesn't seem to be very strong. It's bolted through two small blocks of wood which are glued onto the headboard and legs. One of these blocks came unglued from only light pressure while I was tightening the bolt. This was easy enough to fix and isn't really a major issue but I can see this is the weakest point of the beds construction and could use some improvement.- Two corners of the bed were slightly damaged during shipping. Not anything major, but a few small bits of the finish were broken off. The corners could have been packaged a little better to prevent this.- These are very minor cons and really this bed is amazing, especially for the price. I highly recommend this bed for anyone who wants an elegant solid wood bed.

I was very skeptical making such a large purchase online, but was very pleasantly surprised by the whole process!!! The quality of the product is awesome....not only does it look great, but it's sturdy and overall, just really well made. It's a little bit of a pain to assemble because the directions are not that great, so, you really have to pay attention to the detail in the pictures. Other than that I had such a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this product to anyone in the market.

My wife and I were searching for a new bed in the $500-750 range. Obviously, we were not looking for anything too special, just something decent enough to hold us over for a while. We visited several retail stores from Rooms To Go, Ashley's, and Ikea. Found this bed on Amazon, and like others, we were a little skeptical with purchasing a bed, since we were not able to see it in person. Our expectations were wonderfully exceeded. The bed ships via a third party freight company. The beds are solid wood, and not made from any cheap particle board. Arrived as 4 boxes... headboard, footboard, siderails, and the wood slats that the mattress will lay on. The bed took a friend and I about half an hour to put together with the allen key included in the box. Construction is nice, and firm. Does not feel cheap. Our only complaint was the way the wooden slats just get drilled into the side board, but that will keep them from sliding around like on the previous cheap Ikea bed that we had. The nightlight feature is a pretty great concept, but wish the button was on both sides to activate, rather than the one. Otherwise, we're very happy with our purchase, so happy, that I actually took the time to type up this review, which I never do!!!
